The Conditional Tense
The conditional tense for "are" verbs is formed by changing the "are" ending to "er", and then adding the appropriate ending.
Group 1: -are Verbs

3rd-person | ebbe | ebbero |
Examples:
io parlerei, tu parleresti,
lui parlerebbe, noi parleremmo,
voi parlereste, loro parlerebbero
The conditional tense for "ere" and "ire" verbs is formed by dropping the final "e" from the ending of the infinitive and then adding the appropriate ending from below. These are the same endings used for the "are" verbs.
Group 2: -ere/-ire Verbs
